Born in Istanbul, Turhan Kayaoğlu graduated from the Political Science Department of Ankara University. He has been living in Sweden since 1980, and has been working at Sweden's biggest newspaper, DN, for 15 years. He has been translating books into Turkish and Swedish for 15 years.
